On June 5, the delegation led by Alen Simonyan met with the President of the Republic of Slovenia Nataša Pirc Musar within the framework of the official visit to Slovenia.
At the meeting the security situation in the South Caucasus, in Europe and in the Middle East was discussed.
Alen Simonyan presented to Nataša Pirc Musar the normalization process of the Armenia-Azerbaijan negotiations, stressed the necessity of immediate solution of the problem of the return of Armenian prisoners of war being illegally held in Azerbaijan.
The NA President noted that Armenia is persistent in the establishment of peace in the South Caucasus
The democratic reforms in Armenia and the jointly implementing projects with the European Union were at the core of the talk.
In the context of deepening the Armenia-Slovenia bilateral relations an agreement was reached to expand the sectoral cooperation.
